Dr Duncan Sullivan now practices primarily in the field of diagnosis and management of musculo-skeletal pain and injury, both sport and non-sport related. He uses ultrasound scanning to assist with diagnosis, and to guide injections. Treatment options included exercise advice, taping, temporary orthotics, trigger point injections for muscle pain, joint injections (corticosteroid, hyaluronic acid, platelet rich plasma) and injections for tendon injury. He also uses iontophoresis to deliver corticosteroid to superficial tendons and joints. He can perform compartment pressure measurement. Dr Sullivan has particular interest in running and cycling injuries.
