Injection Based Therapy

We offer various injections to treat musculoskeletal issues

Injection therapies are a form of medication that are injected either directly into the area where patients are feeling discomfort or elsewhere in the body. We offer:

• Cortisone injections
• Myofascial trigger point therapy
• Prolotherapy
• Autologous blood injection
• Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injections

These therapies can be an effective way of dealing with musculoskeletal conditions such as osteoarthritis, tendonitis, ligament injuries, joint pain, and muscle spasms.

We also offer Iontophoresis of dexamethasone as an alternative to cortisone injection and visco-supplementation injections (Synvisc or Durolane) for osteoarthritis.

We can use ultrasound scanning to guide injections.
